Leadership Opportunities

Lead the charge and set the example for members and ensure overall success of the group; serve as the main point of contact; set agendas and send any follow up communications; lead meetings and encourage participation; with vice chair, be in charge of membership growth and retention.

Be a model member; and set the example of participation; assist Chair in membership growth and retention; act as the chair’s backup in case the chair is unavailable or unable to fulfill his/her duties.

Take attendance at meetings; create meeting minutes; distribute minutes to members; create/update social media pages.

Work with the leadership team to determine event and program fees; make sure any costs associated with events are within budget; make calls to remind members of unpaid membership dues.

Plan regularly scheduled events (with help from other members); act as point person for all events; lead logistics and planning; liaise with the CAP advisors and Chair on progress and success.
